Time Zone Converter

Choose a date, time, source zone, and destination zone to convert time using IANA rules available in your browser. Your data is processed in your browser.

How to use

  1. Enter the date and time in the source zone.
  2. Choose the source time zone and destination time zone.
  3. Convert the time and check whether the destination date changed.

How it works

The tool uses Intl.DateTimeFormat and browser IANA time-zone identifiers to locate the matching instant and format it in the destination zone.

Notes and limitations

  • Nonexistent local times during a daylight-saving jump are rejected.
  • Ambiguous local times during a daylight-saving fallback can occur twice; the runtime supplies one valid occurrence.

Frequently asked questions

Does the converter use a fixed UTC offset?

No. It uses browser IANA time-zone rules, including seasonal changes when available.
